Quality notes: 14 cards (30.4 percent) had an issue with minor surface flaws such as faint indentation lines or spots, light dings on the corners or small ink-spot variations. These surface flaws were seen on both the fronts and backs of the basic cards as well as on the Joe Theismann Retired card. In addition, both of the autographed cards contained smeared autographs with the Mark Clayton card showing significant smearing.
