I've known very little about this product, did further research and just had to give it a go. This is one of few 1993 boxes I will rip. Not crazy about some of the inserts but you got them all. This was an interesting product of its time - right as we started to see more of the inserts and parallels. The fact you could get parallels of inserts was a plus too. I did hit one of the best ones possible - Bettis. The luck was with me, but with luck comes the shaft - naturally I would get a checklist parallel lol. It was a fun break and I am just one base short - Emmitt. The base look pretty good and the rookies are the sharpest looking inserts. They improved on the other insert designs in the update. One of the unique things about this product is each card number is a player's uniform number. Some greats won't be included in the base set while some undeserving players will make it. Hopefully it won't take me too long to find the update box, and looks to be even more of a blast. Plenty more to come.
