Upper Deck Launches "Spell and Win" Sweepstakes in 2004 First Pitch Baseball

The crack of the bat and the smell of pine tar signal that the baseball season is just around the corner and the Upper Deck Company, LLC is giving everyday fans a chance to win an autographed baseball from MLB superstar Ken Griffey, Jr. through its "Spell & Win" sweepstakes included in 2004 Upper Deck First Pitch Baseball.

How to Win
20 lucky fans will win an autographed baseball from MLB sensation Ken Griffey, Jr. Collectors can be entered into the drawing to win an autographed ball by collecting sweepstake cards featuring a letter that will spell out the words "Diamond Collection".

The collector takes their card and goes online at www.upperdeck.com/baseball, entering the code featured on the card. The letters the contestant collects are stored in their accounts. When they complete the phrase, they are automatically entered in the drawing.

Sweepstakes cards can be found one per pack in 2004 First Pitch Baseball. The sweepstakes starts on February 10 and ending with entries postmarked by September 30 2004. Winners will be announced in late October.

"We take special pride in giving everyday sports fans and first time hobbyist a chance to collect a piece of sports memorabilia of their heroes through our products and promotions," said Joe Fallon, Senior Product Manager.
