In The Game's "Super Box" Returns for the 2004 Toronto Spring Expo

In The Game, Inc., the manufacturer of In The Game, Be A Player and Parkhurst hockey cards, will present another version of the critically acclaimed Super Box for the 2004 Toronto Spring Expo taking place at the International Centre from April 30 to May 2.

Similar to previous Super Boxes, they will be limited to just 1,000 units and are designed to introduce collectors to various In The Game products while encouraging them to participate in our Expo Wrapper Redemption Program.

"The collector response to our Super Boxes has been extremely encouraging," explained Dr. Brian H. Price, President of In The Game. "Without a doubt, the reason they are so popular is they offer terrific value. I can't tell you how many collectors have cited this as the main reason for their purchase. In fact, we've seen a number of collectors purchase several more Super Boxes after opening their first one. That sends a very positive message."

Each Super Box will contain 24 packs of In The Game product including: 6 packs of In The Game-Action; 6 packs of 2003-04 Be A Player Memorabilia Series; and 3 packs each of four different Parkhurst Original Six products including Toronto, Boston, New York and Montréal. Collectors can open these packs at the In The Game booth and redeem the wrappers for special foil-stamped and sequentially-numbered cards from all of these products.

However, every Super Box has a great deal more to offer! Each box will also contain a unique Parkhurst Rookie game-used memorabilia card created exclusively for the Spring Expo and featuring some of the highest-profile rookies from the current season. These cards serve as a preview to the much anticipated 2003-04 Parkhurst Rookie set slated for release in May and will not be available anywhere else.

Every Super Box will also contain another unique rookie-themed insert card entitled Class of 2003-04. Each will feature two of the NHL's premier freshmen. There will be 10 different cards available and they will be limited to a total of 100 copies of each.

We don't stop there, either. Each Super Box will also contain one random 2004 All-Star FANtasy team set. There are 29 different team sets available, one representing each NHL team (Minnesota excepted). Each team set consists of at least 21 cards including a special header/checklist card. The cards originate from the 2003-04 In The Game-Action set (including the 24 rookie cards produced for the Rookie Debut redemption set) and are adorned with an attractive silver-foil stamp commemorating the 2004 All-Star game in Minnesota. These sets were originally available at the 2004 All-Star FANtasy show.

Finally, each Super Box will also contain a ballot to win one of six different uncut sheets from the 2003-04 Parkhurst Original Six Series. There will be one uncut sheet from each of the six teams.

A production run of 1,000 boxes ensures they won't last long. Boxes will be available at selected dealers at the Fall Expo for $99 (Canadian funds) or $70 (U.S. funds). To guarantee you get one, you can also order them directly from In The Game through the web site at www.baptradingcards.com. Money orders can be sent to: In The Game-Super Box Offer, 22 St. Joseph Street, Toronto, Ontario, M4Y 1J9. Please specify if you want your box shipped or if you want to pick up your box at the Spring Expo.

Elements of this program are subject to change at any point leading up to the show.
