With the start of the professional baseball nearing, the Upper Deck Company announced it has partnered with Major League Baseball to give every fan attending an MLB home opener a free gift. Each fan around the country attending their favorite team's home opener will receive a randomized four-card pack of Upper Deck's Power Up! Baseball. Upper Deck Power Up! Baseball includes the top MLB players with heroic and oversized features, and, is an easy-to-play card game that offers a unique, exciting way to collect cards via a points program that will be redeemable for big prizes.

"This sampling promotion clearly shows how Upper Deck is taking a category leadership position," said Mike Barry, Baseball Brand Manager at Upper Deck. "This effort is a perfect example of Upper Deck and Major League Baseball's commitment to introduce innovative baseball sports card offerings to new consumers."

Power Up! Baseball, a 100-card set, gives kids the opportunity to start their card collection or trade with their friends to build the best team based on points stated on each card.
