Fan Favorites Returns
Fan Favorites Baseball burst onto the hobby scene last year and was immediately
embraced by Topps collectors spanning all generations.
The historic baseball card company added a whole new twist to its popular
"retro" line of products by fusing classic Topps designs with
never-before-seen photography from the Topps photo archives.
And this year, Topps again dug deep into its photo-rich vault to reveal unused
photography of some of baseballs most cherished personalities. From Mookie
Wilson and Ray Knight of the beloved 1986 Miracle Mets to greats Hank Aaron and
Willie Mays, they are all captured in Fan Favorites. Topps also pays homage to
off-the-field personalities who have helped shape the game. Yankee PA Announcer
Bob Sheppard, Broadcaster Joe Buck and Sy Berger, famed Topps executive
considered to be the inventor of the modern day baseball card, are just a few
names that fans of our National Pastime have endeared.
And of the 150 subjects appearing in the base set, 120 are signing autographs.
Thats right, every box guarantees two autographed cards from the likes of
"Hammerin" Hank Aaron, "Say Hey" Willie Mays, Mike Schmidt,
Frank Robinson, Rod Carew, Robin Yount, Reggie Jackson, Paul Molitor and many more.
The 150-card base set will also feature a Chrome Refractor Parallel (#d to 299)
and each box will include one Relic box-loader from either the "Best Seat in
the House" or "Fan Favorites" program.
2004 Topps Fan Favorites, releasing June 7, carries a $5.00 SRP for each 6-card
pack.
