In The Game's Wrapper Redemption Program Remains a Focal Point of the 2004
Toronto Spring Expo
In The Game, Inc., manufacturers of In The Game, Be A Player and Parkhurst
brands of hockey cards, will be offering another impressive Wrapper Redemption
Program for the 2004 Toronto Sports Card and Memorabilia Expo taking place April
30 to May 2 at the International Centre.
Traditional Redemption Cards
Collectors who purchase specific In The Game, Be A Player and Parkhurst
products from dealers at the show can open packs and boxes at the In The Game
booth. In exchange for the wrappers, they will receive special foil-stamped
cards commemorating the 2004 Spring Expo. These cards are sequentially numbered
to 10 with many "one-of-one" cards randomly mixed in.
The brand of redemption card received will depend on the brand of cards
opened. The following products are the only brands eligible for redemption cards
at the 2004 Spring Expo:
2003-04 In The Game-Used/Signature Series
Receive four foil-stamped cards (# to 10) from the 200-card Silver or 200-card Gold
In The Game-Used Signature Series base set (except cards #121-150) per wrapper.
2003-04 Parkhurst Original Six
Receive one foil-stamped card (# to 10) from the 600 different Original Six base
cards per wrapper. There will also be one-of-one versions of the non-memorabilia
insert cards mixed in.
2003-04 Memorabilia Series
Receive one foil-stamped card (# to 10) from the 200-card base set per wrapper. Ruby,
Sapphire and Emerald parallel versions are mixed in. All cards from each color are
numbered one-of-one. There will also be one-of-one versions of the Brush With Greatness,
The Mask III, Super Rookie and Deep In the Crease insert cards.
2003-04 In The Game-Action
Receive one foil-stamped card (# to 10) from the 624-card base set per wrapper. One-of-one
versions of various non-memorabilia insert sets will be incorporated.
One-of-One Game-Used Memorabilia Redemption Cards
Collectors will also have the option of receiving one-of-one game-used
memorabilia cards in exchange for wrappers from the above products as an
alternative to the cards numbered to 10. The following brands are eligible for
this offer.
2003-04 In The Game-Used Signature Series
Receive a one-of-one memorabilia card per every box opened.
2003-04 Parkhurst Original Six
Receive a one-of-one memorabilia card per two boxes opened (all teams).
2003-04 Memorabilia Series
Receive a one-of-one memorabilia card per two boxes opened.
2003-04 In The Game-Action
Receive a one-of-one memorabilia card per two boxes opened.
2002-03 Ultimate Memorabilia
Receive two one-of-one game-used memorabilia cards per every box opened. Ultimate
Memorabilia wrappers can only be submitted for one-of-one memorabilia cards. Redemption
cards numbered to 10 are restricted to 2003-04 brands only.
The selection of one-of-one game-used memorabilia cards in this program
originates from Parkhurst Original Six, Be A Player Memorabilia Series, and In
The Game-Action. All of today's top stars such as Mario Lemieux, Steve Yzerman,
Martin Brodeur and Ilya Kovalchuk are available along with a wide selection of
retired legends such as Patrick Roy, Ray Bourque, Bobby Orr, Guy Lafleur, Phil
Esposito, and Darryl Sittler.
All boxes must be opened at the same time and all wrappers must be submitted
to In The Game personnel. Boxes MUST have shrinkwrap with the BAP logo on the
boxes to qualify. The redemption card offer extends through all three days of
the show or until supplies last. Those receiving one-of-one memorabilia cards
are not eligible for the traditional redemption cards numbered out of 10.
The Super Box
Collectors can also participate in our Wrapper Redemption Program by
purchasing the latest edition of our Super Box. Each Super Box contains a
variety of 24 packs of cards including Original Six, Memorabilia Series, and In
The Game-Action. Packs can be opened at the In The Game booth and all wrappers
can be submitted for redemption cards sequentially numbered to 10.
Super Boxes are not eligible for one-of-one game-used memorabilia cards.
Super Boxes also contain exclusive inserts like Parkhurst Rookie Preview
game-used memorabilia cards, and Class of 2004, a set devoted to the NHL's top
rookies. Collectors will also find one of 29 different random NHL team sets
commemorating the 2004 All-Star Game, and a ballot offering a chance to win one
of six Parkhurst Original Six uncut sheets.
The Super Box will be available through select dealers at the 2004 Spring
Expo. For more information on the Super Box, visit the web site at
