US Olympic Softball Pitcher Jennie Finch Signs for Topps
Topps announces plans to issue the first-ever autographed baseball card of US
Olympic Softball Pitcher Jennie Finch.
Finch, one of todays most celebrated female athletes, will sign 125 total cards
for the "Personal Endorsements" autograph program featured in 2004 Topps
Pristine Baseball. She is signing only 25 cards for the Gold Parallel edition.
Finch, who gained her fame while playing at the University of Arizona, holds the
NCAA Softball record with an amazing 60 consecutive wins. She was twice named
"National Player of the Year" and led Team USA to gold at the 2002 World
Championships. This summer, she headlines Team USA as they travel to Athens to compete
in the Summer Games.
2004 Topps Pristine Baseball, featuring the unique pack in a pack in a pack
experience, releases the first week of October.
