Topps Readies for Historic Auction
On Saturday, June 26th, Topps will start one of its most anticipated auctions
ever - The Wacky Packages Original Art Auction.
The auction, which will take place via the internet on
www.TheToppsVault.com,
will feature original Wacky Packages art (1967-2004) including "Crust"
Toothpaste (valued $25,000 - $45,000), the all-new Martha Stewart spoof and
many more.
Wacky Packages fans and collectors will also have the opportunity to see the
original pieces of pop culture in person as Topps will preview the artworks
before they head to the auction block. The preview dates and times are as
follows:
Thursday, June 24, 2004 (10 am - 4 pm) / Media & Invited Guests only
Friday, June 25 (10 am - 8 pm) / open to all
Saturday, June 26 (10 am - 4 pm) / open to all
