Fleer F.R.A.T. Party a Hit at Sportsfest
Sportsfest was the place to be on Thursday, June 24, as Fleer hosted a F.R.A.T.
Party (Fleer Rip And Tear) at the Rosemont Convention Center. Invited dealers
and guests joined Fleer staffers to preview Greats of the Game Baseball, along
with other Fleer products. About 50 card dealers ripped open two (2) hobby boxes
of Greats MLB and kept what was opened. In addition, dealers ripped some
Genuine MLB, which was a recent Fleer release.
Guests were also treated to food, drink and a brief presentation focusing on
Fleer’s upcoming products. Everyone walked away with cards, die-cast items,
Fleer t-shirts and more. There was also a raffle for 10 different high-end
prizes, including autographed memorabilia, game tickets and trading cards.
"We have received some excellent feedback from these Rip And Tear Parties
and we will continue to host more," said Fleer spokesman Joshua Perlman.
"While dealing directly with our customers face to face, we are able to get
a true understanding of how they perceive a certain product, and it has been
great."
