Fishing for Racing Action - DreamWorks’ Shark Tale Dives Into the NASCAR® Scene
Action Performance Companies Inc., the leader in the design, promotion, marketing and

tells the story of what happens when one little fish tells a "great white" lie.
NASCAR phenom Kasey Kahne and talented veteran Ward Burton will be part of a program designed
to promote the upcoming motion picture, DreamWorks’ Shark Tale. Shark Tale features an
all-star cast playing out the story of Oscar, a fast-talking, little fish who dreams big.
However, his big dreams land him in hot water when a great white lie turns him into an
unlikely hero. The movie dives into theaters nationwide on Oct. 1, 2004.
Kahne, who competes in both the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup and Busch Series circuits, will drive the
No. 38 Great Clips/Shark Tale Dodge at four different NASCAR Busch Series races in 2004,
including Michigan International Speedway on August 21, Bristol Motor Speedway on August 27,
California Speedway on September 4 and Kansas Speedway on October 9. Meanwhile, Burton will
drive the No. 0 NetZero HiSpeed/Shark Tale Chevrolet Monte Carlo during the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup
Series race on Oct. 3, 2004 at Talladega Superspeedway.
Action Performance is creating die-cast replicas of both Kahne’s No. 38 Great Clips/Shark Tale
Dodge and Burton’s No. 0 NetZero HiSpeed/Shark Tale Chevrolet in a variety of prized collector
