Fleer Teams Up With Kellogg's For National American Idol Trading Card Promotion

Consumers can win a complete set in the 'freeze 'em 'n win' sweepstakes in conjunction with American Idols Live! Summer Concert Tour

Fleer Trading Cards has partnered with Kellogg's to create an 89-card American Idol trading card set, which will be offered exclusively to Pop-Tarts consumers as prizes in the 'freeze 'em 'n win' sweepstakes this summer. The sweepstakes will appear on over 10,000,000 units of chocolate Pop-Tarts toaster pastries.

Pop-Tarts, which is sponsoring 'American Idols Live!' nationwide summer concert tour, will reward winning consumers in this promotion with this unique set. Consumers are urged to put their chocolate flavor Pop-Tarts in the freezer, and if their wrapper turns red, they're a winner of one of 5,000 sets.

"This is a tremendous mainstream vehicle for Fleer to promote our American Idol trading cards and to reach millions of consumers who potentially can become new collectors," said Joshua Perlman, Senior Manager of Marketing for Fleer Trading Cards. "This is an incredible opportunity for Fleer to partner with one of the biggest brands in the breakfast aisle."

The 89-card set features the top 32 contestants from the recently concluded American Idol season three, including winner Fantasia Barrino and runner up Diana DeGarmo, favorite rejects such as William Hung, cool judges' cards like Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson, along with host Ryan Seacrest. There are also cards in the set that show never seen behind the scenes footage from the hit television show.

Consumers can find out more about the entire line of American Idol trading cards by visiting the company's web site at www.fleer.com.
