Agreement Introduces Youngsters to Collecting Football Cards

It's time to chalk the fields, break out the shoulder pads and start collecting Upper Deck
Football cards. With football season getting ready for kickoff, the Upper Deck Company
announced it has entered into an exclusive multi-year deal with Pop Warner to become
the "Official Trading Card of Pop Warner Football". In addition, Upper Deck will
be sponsoring a national wrapper redemption program entitled "The Card Blitz Is On!"
during the 2004 Pop Warner Football Season with the Grand Prize being one lucky team winning
a football clinic with Atlanta Falcons Michael Vick.
"As the largest national youth football and cheerleading program, Pop Warner is a perfect
match for Upper Deck," stated Jon Butler, Executive Director of Pop Warner. "We're
excited to work with Upper Deck, and we know that our young football players will enjoy the
great Upper Deck football cards, and the terrific prizes in Upper Deck's 'The Card Blitz is On!'
contest. It's a wonderful way in which to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of Pop Warner!"
"The Card Blitz Is On!" program encourages Pop Warner teams across the country to
purchase and submit their wrappers from 2004 Upper Deck Football trading cards for the
opportunity to win with NFL super star Michael Vick. The clinic will provide the winning
team with a once in a lifetime chance to meet the scrambling quarterback and experience the
drills utilized by professional football players. Additionally, weekly prizes such as football
equipment, trading cards, and videogames will be awarded to participating teams over the length
of the entire promotion. Upper Deck will post weekly results and standings at
www.cardblitz.com where teams can track
their performance.
