Relive the flag-to-flag action from the 2004 NASCAR season with Wheels High Gear 2005, the first product to highlight the inaugural year of the "Chase for the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup". Releasing in January, Wheels High Gear 2005 returns with an expanded base set of 90-cards that includes year end statistics and a special awards subset that pays tribute to the top performers of the 2004 season. A 2005 sneak preview subset is also included.

Wheels High Gear 2005 Racing Cards

Flag ChasersTM race-used flag cards are the featured memorabilia in Wheels High Gear 2005. There are seven different flag versions to collect, from the green flag to the extremely rare checkered flag (1:144 Hobby, 1:240 Retail). Wheels High Gear 2005 is the first product to include the new Wheels Autographs, featuring over 60 drivers including such stars and legends as Jeff Gordon, Mark Martin, Jimmie Johnson, and Richard Petty (1:60 Hobby, 1:44 Retail).

Wheels High Gear 2005 is also the place to find the popular, Flag Chaser Power Pick Contest, which features a one-of-a-kind High Gear flag will be representative of the 2005 racing season, and include a wide variety of signatures from the 2004 champion to the new rookies on the circuit (1:20). However, The Flag Chaser Power Pick Contest isn't the only chance that collectors have to win big! One lucky fan will have the opportunity to win two NASCAR Scene suite passes to the Coca-Cola 600 at Lowes Motor Speedway in the Be an Insider for a Day Contest. Contest cards can be found inside packs of Wheels High Gear 2005 (1:6 Hobby, 1:8 Retail) and are also good for a free trial subscription to NASCAR Illustrated.

"Wheels High Gear 2005 gives collectors the chance to both commemorate the 2004 racing season and gear up for the exciting 2005 kickoff in Daytona," explained Heather Maillard, associate product manager for Press Pass, a division of RC2 (NASDAQ: RCRC). "With two exciting contests and the first opportunity to collect the 2005 Wheels Autographs, Wheels High Gear 2005 promises not to disappoint."

The Wheels High Gear 2005 base set consists of 90 colorful cards printed on premium quality 24-point card stock and releases on January 19, 2005.
