Unique Trading Cards Will Chronicle Most Dramatic News Stories of 2005
Weekly "Topps Chronicles" To Be Issued Exclusively On-Line
Topps announces the release of an all-new trading card series entitled "TOPPS CHRONICLES",
which chronicles the world’s most significant news stories of 2005.
Every Monday, starting January 3rd, collectors will have the opportunity to purchase a trading card
depicting the previous week’s most dynamic news story.
Each card in the Topps Chronicles collection will be available exclusively on-line at
www.topps.com.
Individual cards will be available for $4.75 each, while monthly and yearly subscriptions to the
program will be offered at discounted rates. Early customers will also receive a free limited
edition Topps Chronicles Binder to house the special set.
"Topps Chronicles, the first of its kind, is a unique educational tool and a great way to
commemorate a birth year," said Lax Chandra, Topps Director of Internet Operations.
