New Tennis Collectibles with Maria Sharapova on Sale in January 2005
Ace Authentic, a newly launched sports marketing company based in Tampa, Florida, is
producing tennis trading cards, player posters and signed framed photos as well as
selling game-worn apparel and merchandise. The new tennis collectibles will give fans
a chance to own a piece of their favorite professional players.
The 2005 Ace Trading Card Debut Edition Sets will arrive on the market in mid January
and will contain the first officially licensed rookie cards of Maria Sharapova, Justine
Henin-Hardenne, Tim Henman, David Nalbandian, Nadia Petrova, Dinara Safina, Tatiana
Golovin and Marat Safin as well as fan favorites Andy Roddick, Andre Agassi, Juan Carlos
Ferrero, Paradorn Srichaphan and Roger Federer.
"Our company is very excited about launching this product within tennis. There is
currently a great demand for tennis trading cards as well as tennis memorabilia," said
Todd Goldman, President of Ace. Goldman also is the publisher of Tennis Life Magazine,
currently the second largest tennis magazine worldwide. Goldman added, "With the
increased interest in tennis and its personalities such as Roddick, Federer, Sharapova
and Agassi just to name a few these products will quickly find a niche."
This exclusive 99-card factory set will have a limited production run and will include
one gold embossed parallel card serially numbered to 100. Just 100 of these parallel sets
will be produced. A redemption for the first Maria Sharapova Autograph Rookie Card, which
also is being numbered to only 100 cards, will be randomly included.
The Ace Tennis Trading Card Debut Edition is only $19.99 per set. Since the sets will be
sold out before hitting the streets, preorders are being accepted. To order, call
