In The Game Sponsors "The Big One" In Vancouver And Offers Another Impressive Wrapper
Redemption Program
In The Game, Inc. is pleased to announce its sponsorship of Vancouverıs fourth annual sports
card and memorabilia show an event otherwise known as "The Big One". The show will
take place March 11-13 at the Croatian Cultural Centre in Vancouver, British Columbia.
The sponsorship includes another Wrapper Redemption Program. This version of the Program will
focus on the 2004-05 Heroes and Prospects brand as well as the new NHL Franchises Canadian
Edition product. No other brands will be eligible for this Program.
Collectors who purchase packs and/or boxes of 2004-05 Heroes and Prospects and 2004-05 NHL
Franchises Canadian Edition from dealers at the show can open them at the In The Game booth.
In exchange for the wrappers, they will receive special foil-stamped base cards from either
set commemorating the "Big One". These cards will be sequentially numbered to 10 and
are exclusive to the show.
The Heroes and Prospects redemption cards will include the 230 cards from the base set (including
the 50-card Update set) plus the 20-card Top Prospects Game insert set. The NHL Franchises
redemption cards will include all 150 cards from the base set.
For the first time ever, collectors at the Vancouver show will also have the opportunity to
receive special one-of-one game-used memorabilia cards and Autograph cards. To qualify, they must
open two sealed boxes of Heroes and Prospects or NHL Franchises at the In The Game booth.
Approximately 250 different game-used memorabilia cards and Autograph cards will be available
including cards of Sidney Crosby, Alexander Ovechkin, Patrick Roy, and Mario Lemieux. These cards
come from insert sets in both the Heroes & Prospects and NHL Franchises products. Each will
feature special foil stamping and will be numbered "1/1".
"Collectors in Vancouver have always responded to our Wrapper Redemption Programs with a
great deal of enthusiasm," said In The Game President Dr. Brian H. Price. "In fact,
the level of participation gets stronger with each show we do. Thatıs why we are not only
happy to be involved again this year, but we have turned the Program up a notch by adding the
one-of-one cards."
All boxes must be opened at the same time and all wrappers must be submitted to In The Game
personnel. Boxes MUST have shrink wrap with the In The Game logo on it to qualify. The redemption
card offer extends through all three days of the show or while supplies last. Those receiving
one-of-one memorabilia cards are not eligible for the traditional redemption cards numbered out
of 10. In The Game reserves the right to limit the quantity of cards per customer.
