In The Game's Baron Bedesky Is Moving On
In The Game, Inc., manufacturers of NHL-licensed hockey cards, has announced that Baron Bedesky, the company's
Vice-President of Marketing and Communications, is stepping down from his position as of May 2 after more than
four years on the job.
"It is with a tinge of sadness that I've made the decision," explained Bedesky. "I am grateful
that I received the opportunity to work for a sports card manufacturer. I want to thank Dr. Price and everyone
at In The Game for their efforts. I believe we made the best sports cards in the business."
Bedesky's decision was spurred by the move of the company offices from downtown Toronto to north of the city.
Stating a desire to remain close to his family, the daily commute to work from his residence in St. Catharines
was no longer possible.
"It is unfortunate, but this is part of the fallout from the ongoing NHL lockout," explained In The Game's
President, Dr. Brian Price. "In an effort to streamline our costs, we were forced to move from our offices in
downtown Toronto to our warehouse facility. I respect Baron's decision and we wish him well."
