Bob & Sallie Connelly will auction, without reserve, Sports Memorabilia including boxing, baseball, and football items on Saturday, June 4, 2005, starting at 11:00 a.m., with a preview at 9:00 a.m. The auction will be conducted simultaneously at the Showplace in Binghamton, NY and live on the internet via iCollector and eBay Live Auctions. Included are hundreds of photographs, including W600 Sporting Life cabinet photos, books, magazines, baseballs, footballs, bats, and other collectibles -- many signed or autographed -- and many from the personal collection of Philadelphia boxer, John A. Many photographs from 1890 to 1930 are autographed by the boxers and the referee. Included are photos of Jack Johnson, Jim Corbett, Joe Walcott and Max Schmeling.

The auction also includes a set of 24 1902 Sporting Life W600 cabinet photographs of baseball icons, including Cy Young, Christopher Matthewson, Hans Wagner, John McGraw, Napoleon LaJoie. Other items: 1959-60 pre-Super Bowl game football signed by the Giants on one side, the Colts on the other; baseballs signed by Lou Gehrig and Babe Ruth, the latter with COA; and a 1941 black bat celebrating the Yankees World Championship.
