How well do you know your autographs? The second PSA World Series of Autograph Authentication will be held at this summer's 27th annual National Sports Collectors Convention. The champion of the competition will earn a year of bragging rights and a $2,500 cash prize.

The computerized test of knowledge and skill about autographs will be held at the PSA booth during the convention in Anaheim, California, Wednesday to Sunday, July 26 - 30, 2006.

"This is a winner-take-all competition. The winner will receive $2,500 cash and the status as PSA's 2006 champion," said Joe Orlando, PSA President.

"Here's your chance to put your forgery detection skills to the test and compete against the best collectors and dealers at the show. The test will consist of a combination of genuine and counterfeit autographs of major names in sports, vintage and modern."

Each contestant will have 10 minutes to examine 30 autographs on a computer screen and determine their authenticity by casting a "genuine" or "not genuine" vote. Following the initial group of 30 questions, there will be a lightning round consisting of 10 questions. Each contestant will have 2 minutes to complete the 10 questions after the first round of 30 questions is completed. The results of the lightning round will be used as a tie-breaker in case we have tie scores after round one.

"To ensure fairness, please note that the test will not contain any facsimile, pre-printed or laser printed signatures since the test will be administered entirely on a computer screen at The National," Orlando explained.

Every contestant will receive a T-shirt commemorating the PSA World Series of Autograph Authentication.

The competition is open to virtually anyone except current PSA employees. PSA does reserve the right to deny entry in special circumstances. There is a $25 entry fee, and entrants must make a reservation to enter the competition. Reservations now are being accepted by contacting Carol Bennett at PSA, (800) 325-1121 extension 102.

"I expect the reservation times will fill up very quickly. There will be only a limited number of time slots available on a first-come, first-served basis. Anyone who wants to enter the competition should promptly make a reservation to avoid being shut out," advised Orlando.

PSA is a division of Collectors Universe, Inc. (NASDAQ: CLCT).
